Next Walk
Feb. 26th - this will be a grade B walk of approx 8km to the mysterious Clear Lake.
Meeting in the carpark in Cadamstown at 1.30 pm. Leader - Tom Daly.

Away Walks
Anyone interested in our away walks over the coming months might want to note the following dates and times:
Knockmealdowns - Sunday April 8th. Meet at Horse and Jockey at 9.30 am
Comeraghs - Mahon Falls. May 5th. Meet at Kilcooney Wood Carpark on R676, 10 miles from Carrick on Suir at 11.00 am.
Carrauntoohill - June 3rd. Meet in Cronin's Yard at 11.00 am.
Brandon - 5th August. Meet at 10 am at O'Connors Bar & Guesthouse, Cloghane (Phone 066 7138270)

Jan 29 - Grade C Free Open Walk

Ardara Hillwalking Club began its new season of walks on Sunday Jan.29th, with a free, open to all, outing of discovery in the Slieve Blooms, taking in Brittas Lake, The Ridge of Capard and Cathole Falls. This was an ideal introduction to the hidden gems of the Slieve Blooms and turned out to be very popular with the large number who braved the very bad weather. A special word of welcome to our five very young walkers, hopefully you enjoyed your day out.
